Here in the Rocky Mountains winter is arriving. A dusting on the Tetons above us and tonight a fire in the wood burning stove. This is how the story begins: guitars are strumming in celebration of the Remote Studio student’s successful presentation to the Town of Wilson and the Teton County Park and Recreation board for the Owen-Bircher Pavilion they will begin construction on in a little over a week.
The posts that follow are a chronicle of the “everyday” that is my life, a collection of experiences from the places where I live and visit; the experiences that inspire me; and work that I am passionate about. A life shared with my family, friends and students, and my dog, Noel.

As it’s 90 degrees here in Texas, I love just the thought of a dusting of snow and a fire in the wood burning stove. The drawings of the pavilion are really interesting, we like!

Winter is around the corner here in VT as well, hard frost this week and the lingering smell of woodsmoke and falling leaves in the air. Still waiting to see what we will get for foliage after our wet hurricane season. Looking forward to more of your posts, maybe you should plan a trip “here” to write about, or maybe I can get out “there” finally……
